Mrs. Mary C. Hanna died August 29, 1818 in Harrison County, Kentucky and removed to this county and settled near Waveland in 1829. When she was 11 years of age she professed religion and became a member of what was known as Providence now Waveland Church when 16 years old. She lived a consistent member of the church till called by death, as we trust, to a better world. She was married to Wm. Hanna, her surviving husband, near Waveland, June 10, 1841. She leaves a large circle of relatives to mourn her death. - kbz

Mrs. Mary D. Hanna died August 29 of heart disease. She was born January 30, 1818 in Harrison County, Ky., and removed to this county and settled near Waveland in 1829. When she was 11 years of age she professed religion and became a member of what was known as Providence, now Waveland, Church, when 16 years old. Not sure if she is a Mary D or a Mary C. - believe her middle name is Duncan so likely the 2nd one is correct
